Ahnu Tilden Sandal : Simple and Sweet

Formed by some ex-Keen folks, Ahnu is making waves with their sweet, simple, lightweight shoes and sandals.

Hikers, kayakers, and anyone else who plays near water will love Ahnu's Tilden Sandal. It's designed for trail use, with a serious, gripping tread ("all-terrain lug"), discreet toe protection, gentle arch support, and a shanked sole. (Ahnu also makes sandals for boaters with a different type of sole designed to grip wet, flat surfaces.)

I like the adjustable fit and the quick-dry webbing. The Tilden is quite a low-profile sandal, slim and nimble, yet still provides a stable platform. The sandals I tested were a bit big on me (they felt about a half size too big), but with a correct fit, would be a streamlined footwear option for all sorts of warm-weather adventures.
