Asics GT2120 Trail Shoe : For Trail and Road

Asics' GT2120 Trail has all the superb features of the GT2120 road warrior, plus a few extras for trail use.
Like the GT2120, the trail model has forefoot and heal cushioning, a thick, uniform sole (i.e., the heel and forefoot feel level in the shoe, not as if the heel is higher than the forefoot), and a well-supported arch to prevent pronation.
The trail model has a more aggressive outer sole than the road shoe, which doesn't mean you can't use the shoe on all surfaces. You'll get a stable ride on grass, trails, and the street. The shoe isn't waterproof but does a good job at keeping me feet dry in wet weather. An all-around great shoe.
I like the roomy fit, which accommodates my full-length custom orthotic. Available in men's and women's sizes.
Bottom Line: A must-have for mid- to high-mileage trail and road runners .--E. D. (May '07)
