Birkenstock Rosemead Clog : Purple Peds

I've been wearing Birkenstocks for more than 20 years - back when only granola types wore them and there weren't too many styles from which to choose.

I still wear Birkenstocks because they haven't changed the most important features: the footbed and the thick shock-absorbing sole. The excellent contoured footbed (which includes natural materials such as cork and jute fibers and is covered in soft suede) provides amazing support through the lateral and metatarsal arches of the foot. I love how their footbeds cradle and support my feet. I can literally walk for miles in these shoes without the normal foot pain I get from an old foot injury when wearing ordinary sandals.

Today, Birkenstock has dozens of sandal, clog, and shoe styles for men, women, and children. I can't resist when they come out with a new color of suede, so I had to have the Rosemead clog. The upper is a luscious purple in a Mary Jane style. Perfect for Spring outings. They're so comfortable that I end up wearing them around the house all day instead of slippers.

Birkenstocks are also available in lower and higher arch styles, in firm and soft footbeds, and in leather or synthetic uppers.
