Bridgedale Bamboo Crew and Lo Socks : Cottony Soft Without the Cotton

Cotton is one of my favorite fabrics; I just love the way it feels against my skin. That's why I love my Bridgedale Bamboo Crew socks.
Let me explain...
Bridgedale makes wonderful outdoor and sport socks by blending a variety of natural and synthetic materials. As a result, they have a strong lineup of durable, high-performance socks for all sorts of outdoor endeavors.
The Bamboo Crew, available in men's and women's sizes, has become a favorite because I get the cottony feel I love in an active sock that contains absolutely no cotton! Made out of viscose (made from bamboo), Coolmax polyester, nylon, and Lycra, this sock does a great job of wicking and keeping my feet happy during my daily hour-long power walks. I also wear the Bamboo Crew for light hiking and most often, as an every day sock.

What makes this sock different, and so much better, from the cotton crew socks I used to wear are the contour panels around the ankle, across the top of the sock and around the arch. These socks stay in place---no matter the terrain or weather or type of shoes I wear. I love that. I also appreciate the defined heel cup and seamless toe.
For my use, the Bamboo has adequate cushioning. I like that the padded areas are on the bottom of the sock where I need them.
Available in men's and women's sizes. The women's sock comes in natural/aubergine. Gotta love a company that makes purple performance socks!!
