I'm pretty particular about my portable computer padding. So, even though I have several laptop bags with built-in computer compartments, I still use my BuiltNY Laptop Sleeve.
This flexible (it stretches to conform snugly to my PowerBook), zippered neoprene sleeve takes up that little bit of extra space in my packs so that my computer doesn't move around while in transit. It also provides protection from scratches (I said I was particular.)
