Carve Designs Kaila Top : A Sunshine Day

Now that it's finally warm outside, I've been wearing my Carve-Designs Kaila Top for work and play.
The tank is made out of soft organic cotton, with a delicate lace trim around the neckline and arm holes. So, it's nice enough for casual work attire and it's comfortable enough for all sorts of activities.
On a recent hike I wore it under a fleece jacket in the early morning. I started the morning at sea level, with light fog. Then, Kaila and I headed up the mountains, where pea soup fog kicked in until the top of the pass. Finally, we emerged into brilliant sunshine. As we cruised around a natural reserve, I was able to shed my fleece because the sun had climbed higher in the sky. I was happy to be wearing a fun top that also looked nice since I was meeting people at the reserve to interview for an article I'm researching.
Back down from the mountains, Kaila switched easily from work to play, as I headed out to play in the sprinkler with my toddler. A perfect day. Thanks, Kaila!
Bottom Line: With its scoop neck, gentle gaters at the front of the neckline, and lace trim, the Kaila top is a nice, fresh take on the average tank.--C.W. (July '10)
