Champion Sports Bras : Chafe-Free Support
My first sports bra was a black, cotton Champion bra. I was in seventh grade. I still have it. Champion sports bras have come a long way since 1990. As an athlete, so have I. As fabrics have evolved, I've discovered the benefits of synthetics - and I don't buy anything else. As an outdoors woman, I've shied away from Champion in recent years, opting for more technical brands. But I recently discovered that Champion makes a wide array of both cotton and synthetic bras at an affordable price. For about $20, you can choose between numerous racer or T-back bras, which offer the support you need on trail runs, long bike rides or walks to the dog park. Here are two I like: The O2 Cool Seamless sports bra is my favorite. It doesn't chafe or itch, and it quickly wicks away sweat. This lightweight bra is made out of a nylon/Lycra spandex material, with mesh panels along the bust and underarms that offer ventilation where I need it most. The Friction Free sports bra is a new spin on an old classic. Made for runners, the Friction Free bra has seamless panels that help stop strap chafing at the neck and around the armholes. It's made out of a breathable nylon/spandex material, and its T-back design offers plenty of support for A and B cups. Bottom Line: Champion has evolved along with female athletes. Choose from a wide variety of technical sports bras at a great price.--B.B. (October '06) Price: $19.99 Manufacturer's Site: www.championusa.com Buy Online:Friction Free Bra |
