DeFeet Wool Air-E-Ator Socks : Sweet for My Feet

Previously, I wrote about three styles of DeFeet socks—the Levi-T-Ator, the Blaze, and the Woolie Boolie—all of which I gave an unreserved rave review. This winter I’ve had the opportunity to add the wool Air-E-Ator to my repertoire, and the experience has been equally pleasing, if not more so.
Made with merino wool, the Air-E-Ator is extremely lightweight. It’s basically a high-performance sock which, because it’s made with merino wool, is both very warm and comfortable. If it gets really cold, say sub-zero Fahrenheit, the wool Air-E-Ator gives the contoured fit and moisture-wicking that makes for a great first layer.
Bottom Line: The wool Air-E-Ator is simply in keeping with the smart design and excellence available in whatever DeFeet sees fit to stitch up. (D.C. Mar 06)
