Icebreaker's Tech T Lite is the lightest weight, thinnest, softest merino wool top I've ever worn (and I've worn almost all of them).
It looks, feels, and fits like my favorite cotton t-shirt, but it's got magic merino powers that make it the best choice for outdoor and travel pursuits. I love hiking in this top because it wicks, it breathes, and when I stop to take a rest, there's no wet spot underneath my pack. In fact, I can go straight from the trail to meet friends for coffee or to run errands -- it dries so fast. If only my pants were so efficient.
Of course, one of my favorite wool features is its ability to withstand odor for days. I can literally wear this shirt every afternoon for my workouts, or every day just as a casual top, or on several long hikes before it starts to smell like a wash might be a good idea.
