Keen Coronado : Old School, New Style
Here's why I love my Keen Coronado shoes: 1. They remind me of the simple canvas sneakers I wore as a kid, complete with the grometted air holes. 2. They're made out of much nicer, thicker canvas than my childhood Keds. 3. They're black, so I can be all street whenever I want. 4. They come with two sets of laces: white for contrast, black for total monochromocity. 5. They fit perfectly, even when I remove the very nice insoles (thick, cush heel padding covered in white canvas) and slip in my full-length custom orthotics. 6. The soles are non-marking and keep me from slipping on wet pavement. 7. They actually make my Fred Flinstone/Frodo Baggins feet look smaller and cuter. 8. They are super cute with skirts and dresses, and really, because of my giant feet, are my favorite standins for dress shoes that don't come in wide widths. 9. They're lined with a cool blue material that looks like a flannel shirt. 10. They're sorta green. The grommets are made from recycled aluminum. Available in men's and women's sizes and in several colors. Also available for kids, toddlers, and babies!! Bottom Line: Simple, sweet, light on your feet.--E.D.
