Kokatat Paddling Capri : Paddle and Party Pant

For warm weather kayaking on flat, protected water, sometimes I throw caution to the wind and don't bother with full-on kayaking clothes.

Kokatat's Paddling Capri pant for women is perfect for these days. They're made with UV protective fabric that provides a UPF 40+. These pants are long enough to cover my knees, which get a lot of sun when sitting in an open cockpit (yea, sometimes I don't bother with a spray skirt if I'm in calm, shallow water).

My capri pants are also short enough to stay dry while getting in and out of my kayak in ankle-deep water. But heck, it doesn't really matter if I slosh around and get them wet because they dry so quickly.

Of course I don't just wear these cute pants out paddling. My capri pants have quickly become my favorite casual but stylish pants for summer evenings, too.

These pants are designed to complement Kokatat's Destination Paddling shirt, which I'll be writing about next month.   Wearing these together, I get excellent sun protection for both my upper body as well as my legs in durable, comfortable, and quick-drying clothes.
