I'm not much of a morning person, but my resistance to early morning trips to the gym just got a whole lot easier. With my colorful Lexie Barnes yoga back, my dark mornings have been brighter, and I've been more organized. No more fumbling around every morning, looking for my mat, towel, toiletries, and a change of clothes. I've got everything all in one place - in my new hip yoga bag!
It's lightweight; I just sling it over my shoulder and walk or cycle to my yoga class. The padded shoulder strap is adjustable to fit my comfort level. It also matches the print of the bag.
At eight and a half inches wide and 26 inches long, this stylish bag easily holds my mat, running shoes, water bottle, towel, a couple of hand weights, and maybe a few other essentials. Two zippered mesh compartments run along the inside of one side. I use one for extra workout clothes, socks, and undies and the other holds my cosmetic bag, deodorant, and other essentials. Located on each end, there are also two more zippered pockets which work well for stashing my keys, Blackberry, MP3 player, energy bars, hair scrunchies, and whatever else I might need and want to keep handy.
What I like most about this bag, and the whole Lexie Barnes line, are the unique print designs. There are four bold colors available, all featuring a water-resistant laminated canvas exterior. The inside of the bag is lined with nylon fabric that's also moisture-resistant. So I don't have to worry if my bag gets wet; the colors will not bleed or come off. I just wipe it clean and hang it to dry.
The Mariposa Yoga Mat Bag is so cool that it was even recently included in the presenter gift bag at the International Emmy Awards!
