Lilypond Switchgrass Carryall Back Pack : Perfect Picnic Potluck Packing

I'm not much of a tote bag kind of gal. The marsupial in me wants my pouch on my body, not in my hand. Lucky for me, Lilypond's Switchgrass Carryall Back Pack satisfies my primal nature and gives me carrying options.

I'm completely in the habit of bringing my own bag to the grocery store now - thanks to so many reusable totes that fold up into pocket-sized packets. Still, I like having a more substantial bag on hand for day trips and for transporting food and wine.

My people are potluck people, so I need a sturdy bag in which to carry food and wine to our gatherings. The lined Switchgrass is ideal for such a purpose since I can place it on the floor and it stands on its own for easy loading. I really like the sleeve pockets on the inside of the bag - they're perfect for my reusable recycled cutlery, a stash of cloth napkins, and a water or wine bottle on each side of the bag.

There's also a large, flat zippered pocket for items I want to keep secure, like my i. d., credit card, and keys. I use the outside zippered pocket for my cell phone.

I normally prefer dark-colored, subtle bags, but I really like the bright colors on this bag. It's such a cheerful-looking tote that I want to take it with me every time I leave the house! I like the sporty design, too. The carrying handles are made out of climbing rope, and the adjustable shoulder straps are decorated and reinforced with a patterned nylon band.

The bag seals itself with strong magnets on the inside of the bag (at each end of the tote handles). The back of the bag is lightly padded to give the back a bit more structure when in use as a pack. I like that I can walk to the store with it, load it up, then carry it home on my back.
