Mountain Hardwear Wicked Lite Top : Run, Play, Wash, Repeat

The Wicked Lite Tank by Mountain Hardwear is one of those tank tops that I can wear for several different activities, from running errands around town to actually running. (They also make a men's version.)
It's lightweight, wicks sweat well, and is fast-drying. The material has an anti-microbial treatment that controls odor, so I can wear it a few times in between washes if I haven't sweated too hard in it. Even if I have, I just rinse it out in warm water.
I wore it the other day while washing my car and the water that sprayed on the shirt dried quickly, something I can't say any of my cotton tops would do. I then wore it to the barn to go see my horse. He loves to rub his big dirty head all over me, as well as snort on me and wipe his carrot encrusted lips on me. I was a mess when I left and threw the tanktop in the wash. It came out clean with no stains and I let it dry on the clothesline and it was ready to wear in just a couple hours.
I really like the tagless design, no irritating "care for" labels to irritate my sensitive skin. The seams are sewn very well, so I don't feel those either. Another thing I like about this top. I seem to be able to wear it with any time of bra, and my straps don't show. Plus, here's something I can't honestly say about a lot of technical sport tops - it drapes nicely giving me a figure instead of looking boxy or flat. There's no reason why a sport tank can't be flattering and technical at the same time!.
This wicked little top comes in six great colors - an aqua blue, pale lavender, urban green, fruity orange, and of course, black and white.

Bottom LIne: This is one of those tank tops I'll definitely choose to wear on a warm day when I plan to be very active and sweat a lot. I know all that sweat isn't going to ruin the shirt and even when it gets dirty, I know those stains will come out easily. --N.S. (June 09)
