Nau Striate Long Sleeve Shirt : Every Day Organic

Cotton is no longer "the fabric of my life." Organic cotton is. And if it's made by Nau, that's even better.
The Striate shirt has become my every day shirt. With a roomy cut that hangs nicely off of my shoulders, it's a comfy change from my body-hugging t-shirts. The Striate does contain a bit of Lycra, but it seems simply to help hold the shape of the shirt rather than shape the shirt. Wash after wash, my shirt maintains its casual, loose feel without feeling stretched out.
I like how Nau has constructed the unfinished edges around the neckline, hem, and sleeves. They appear to end in a delicate roll of fabric, but actually, each rolled edge curls out from under a well-stitched border. I also love the striated material. By varying the weave of the fabric , they've created the illusion of ultra-thin contrast stripes. Nice.
