Osprey Switch 18 Pack : A Pack for Every Season
This pack has so many excellent features, I'm not sure where to begin. In the main compartment, there's room for a change of clothes. An accessible small outer pocket on the top of the pack holds keys (on a key clip), a camera, and a sandwich, while a larger main outer pocket (with a drain hole for times you're carrying wet gear) holds extra gloves, goggles, and other small items. I love the zippered pockets on each side of the the lumbar belt, which make it easy to get at my lip balm, nutrition bars, and sunscreen without having to take off my pack. There's also a hidden water bladder pouch behind the molded back, so you can stay hydrated without even lifting a bottle. The Switch is designed to carry snowshoes, a shovel, skis, poles, and other outdoor gear. Reinforced compression straps and strategically placed loops hold items securely in place. Even packed full, I found the Osprey to be very comfortable to wear. I think it does a great job of distributing weight. Bottom Line: This is an excellent pack. It's well-designed, takes a lot of wear and tear (I often hike in the rain, so I need a pack that doesn't leak!), and it's easy to use. This pack comes in two sizes (1000 cu in and 1100 cu in) and four colors. Price: $119.00 Manufacturer's Site: www.ospreypacks.com Buy Online:
