Prana Reversible Quilted Vest : Warm to the Core

I love my Prana Reversible Quilted Vest. Of course, it's cute, but it's also functional.
On a recent visit to North Beach, a scenic but treacherous stretch of coast in Point Reyes National Seashore, I stayed warm despite the fierce winds. Normally, I break down and have to leave after ten minutes, but the vest did a great job of keeping my core warm while the hood kept the heat from escaping. I hiked for an hour!
I like the fit of this vest, too. The stretchy ribbing along the bottom helps the vest hug my body and stretches to accommodate a sweater underneath.
Two different textures add visual and tactile interest to every outfit. I like having the option of wearing it houndstooth side out with a bright top, or flipping it over to the quilted side for a sportier look.
