Simple EcoSneaks Satire Shoe : Keep it Simple

While I'm a dedicated recycler who tries to drive less and shop organic, when it comes to what I wear, I haven't been so conscientious--until now. With Simple's new ecoSneaks, I now have a pair of "green" shoes that happen to be cool and trendy, too. (I'm in good green company: Laurie David, co-founder of StopGlobalWarming.org is a fan.)

I've been wearing these all-around sneakers for the last month, leaving a lighter carbon footprint with the recycled tires soles. These shoes are lined with organic cotton and have hemp uppers (that looks like thick canvas).

In addition to the eco creds, these shoes are just fun to wear. I throw them on regularly when I'm heading out the door; they're great with jeans, khakis, and once it warms up, they'll be cute with skirts, too.

Available in solid and polka dot colors.
