Sugoi Climate Tank : Breeze By Heat & Humidity

It was hotter than Hell here yesterday (Hell, MI: 55 degrees. Seattle, WA; 103 degrees), so I was all about wearing as little as possible.

Sugoi's Climate Tank had already impressed me with it's excellent wicking abilities during many power walks during my vacation in roasty, humid Minnesota, so I knew it was up to the task.

The Climate Tank is made out of two types of very lightweight material. The back panel is mesh that's visible to the eye but still affords modesty. I like that this panel wraps around the sides of top, too. The front panel is a loosely woven tech fabric that also breathes well. I wore this top all day and for my late night power walk. As usual, it did an fantastic job of breathing.

I like this tank because it's not too revealing, the "straps" are wide so my bra straps don't show through, and the sleeve holes are just the right size. As someone with a big chest, tiny armholes aren't very comfortable for me. The Climate Tank gives me both coverage and freedom of movement. I like the tapered edge hem but because I'm 5'11" I wouldn't mind a longer cut top. Still, my torso was covered.

I also really appreciate the tiny hidden zippered pocket on the right side panel - it's perfect for a key and credit card. Other notable features: tag-free and flat seams, so no chafing.

Sizes: XS-XL, available in five colors. Sugoi makes a men's sleeveless top of of similar material called the Ready.

Bottom LIne: The perfect top for running, power walking, or other strenuous activities. Works well in hot and humid conditions. Love it. -- E. D. (Aug 09)
