Timbuk2 Lap Top Grip Sleeve : The Perfect Computer Tote

If you care about your lap top at all, you have to accessorize it with a protective carrying case. I've been using Timbuk2's Lap Top Grip Sleeve, and I love it!

This tough little tote is made out of ballistic nylon, with rubber piping in the seams and rubber panels along the sides (and bottom) of the case. The padded interior is lined with a plush corduroy fabric and has a small flap that covers the top edge of the computer when you zip the sleeve closed. I've been using mine for a few months, and it still looks new.

The Grip Sleeve is simple to carry. It has sturdy nylon handles and a removable shoulder strap. Sometimes I carry mine as is, and for longer excursions, I place the sleeve into a padded computer backpack.

A bonus feature: a double pocket on the outside of the sleeve. I can slip a boarding pass or train ticket into the open pocket, and keep a stash of my business cards in the small zippered pocket.
