Wigwam Socks : "Long Lasting Comfort"

As much as I love my cotton socks, I know they're not the best choice for a day hike or for a long power walk, or for any activity that has me on my feet all day.

For those activities, I turn to Wigwam. They make my favorite cotton socks, and now, my favorite hiking and sports socks, too.

I love my C-T No-Show Lite socks. Made out of 80 percent CoolMax polyester and 20 percent nylon, these wafer thin socks do a great job of keeping my feet dry and happy. They're stretchy enough to give my feet some space to move, but they don't get baggy after use. This probably has something to do with the heel pocket and welted top. I also appreciate the unique toe seam, which is completely flat and unnoticeable. Best of all, I like the no-sock look for summer.

For light hiking (i.e., when I can get away with wearing a trail shoe instead of boots), I like Wigwam's merino/silk outdoor quarter sock. Made out of CoolMax, nylon, merino wool, silk, and Lycra Spandex, these soft and cozy socks are perfect for almost any activity. They dry quickly, and they don't lose their shape. I often wear them a few days in a row because they don't hold on to odor. I like the cushioned sole, and the ribbed welt top, which helps keep the sock in place without ever leaving marks around my ankle. These socks are more substantial then the C-T socks, but not as thick and bulky as a mid-weight hiking sock.

These socks come in a variety of colors, and the C-T No Show Lite socks are available in a 2-pack. Made in the U.S.A. Available in men's and women's sizes.
