Gore Micro Grid backer is a thin, low-denier, low-density woven fabric that allows the shell to slide easily over mid layers. A reduced number and thickness of seams offers improved abrasion- and snag-resistance, enhanced breathability and decreased weight. Reinforced shoulders, elbows and sleeves are highly abrasion resistant. Helmet-compatible hood offers full protection and fits without inhibiting peripheral vision; collar/hood design offers an excellent weather seal. WaterTight(TM) front zipper features an internal storm flap and a laminated, quick-dry chin guard. No-lift gusseted underarms and articulated elbows allow freedom of movement.
