An Old New Shirt
Sometimes there's nothing finer than a crisp, bright, new cotton t-shirt. For all other times, there's nothing finer than a new t-shirt that feels like an old t-shirt.
From the minute I first wore my Loomstate t-shirt, I felt like I was wearing an old favorite. The organic cotton material was both buttery soft and super thin, as if it had been pre-washed into perfection.
Initially, I thought the shirt was a bit tight and a bit short through the torso (at least for me--I'm tall....still, a few retailers have confirmed with me that these tops run small), but the more I wear it (and wash it), it seems to conform to my body. The shoulders have eased a bit, the body has plenty of give (despite a complete lack of Lycra and probably due to the offset seams that wrap around the body), and the hem of the shirt hangs unevenly--just like an old favorite shirt does. Sweet.
I love my Loomstate t-shirt; it's as soft as my faded, disintegrating rock concert shirts that I've been sleeping in for years. But better because it's organic.
Loomstate's organic tees come in a variety of colors, all bearing nature-related images. Also available in men's sizes and styles. (You may want to order a size larger than normal, and if you're usually a size L, you might find a better fit in a men's shirt.) (July 07)
