Twice Shy Vespa Women's T-shirt
Every Day T
I used to have t-shirt envy. Other women seemed to have all the best shirts--the coolest colors, the funkiest designs, and most enviable, the perfect fit. I just schlepped around in my boxy, boring t-shirts, waiting for fashions to change so that someday I might have a chance at finding a shirt that actually looked good on me.
Along came Canadian apparel company Twice Shy, and now I have a sweet shirt other women ask me about every time I wear it! Everyone notices the hip white design on the front of of this navy blue tee (two sassy short-haired ladies lounging on their Vespa scooters), even if they don't notice the same motif in contrast blue on the lower left-hand corner of the back of the shirt.
What I notice most is the fit. Designed for women, as opposed to for 15-year-old girls as too many fun clothes seem to be, the Vespa T-shirt is as hip and stylish as the other fancy tees out there, but better because it's made out of microfleece-soft organic cut. The shirt has just enough Lycra to give it a little shape, and is cut long enough to cover my stomach (I'm 5'11"; this is a hard to find feature in many shirts). Best of all, it's comfy, casual, and looks great with short skirts and jeans.
Also available in pale green, too, and in sizes XS-L. (July 07)
Price: $44
